MY STORY

I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, but some signs are unmistakable. I was born in Blois, in the Loir-et-Cher region, a charming town in the heart of France, surrounded by majestic rivers and enchanting castles. My mother, always very mindful of her skin, would meticulously take care of her face, both morning and night. She often told me that, as a young girl in Mali, her own mother had passed down the secrets of natural skincare, which she would carefully prepare.

 

As for me, though I wasn’t particularly focused on beauty routines, I made it a point to exfoliate and moisturize my face, a daily ritual that became important to me. As I grew up, I continued this routine with the cosmetic products that filled our shelves, often luxury items.

 

One day, as I observed this ever-growing collection, an idea struck me: why not create my own brand of cosmetics? A brand that would pay homage to the natural treasures of my heritage and my mother's childhood memories. A unique brand that would also incorporate innovative benefits, such as those of champagne before bottling, thanks to the valuable knowledge shared by two inspiring individuals.

 

Meeting the right person was crucial. In life, there’s always someone who makes you realize that your project deserves to be brought to light. Thank you, dear A, for encouraging me to turn this dream into reality. This is how Carolyn Koné Skincare was born.
